Lilian K. Annan

Lilian K. Annan is a seasoned State Registered Nurse (SRN) with 19 years of continuous nursing practice. She has held different managerial and leadership roles in various clinical areas of practice. Since acquiring her SRN certificate, Lilian worked for 17 years at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) in the Department of Child Health, Clinical Genetics (Sickle Cell Clinic) and the Department of Family Medicine/Polyclinic. In KBTH, she rose through the ranks to the level of Principal Nursing Officer.

She then join Nyaho Medical Center as Nurse Manager for Ambulatory and Emergency care. She later moved to Finney Hospital and Fertility Center to head their Nursing Team as the Deputy Director of Nursing Services.

She had her SRN training at the Korle-Bu Nurses’ Training College. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Ghana School of Nursing, Post Graduate Diploma In Education and Master  of Science Degree in Advanced Nursing Practice both from the University of Cape Coast as well as a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Leadership and Management (c) from the University of Ghana Business School. She again holds  Certificate in Advanced Studies in Nursing Management (Internal medicine) from The Chaim Sheba Medical Center, Israel and a Diploma in Healthcare Quality Improvement (2018) from the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI).

She joins The Trust Hospital as the Director of Nursing Services with effect from September 2020.  She has a great interest in Healthcare quality improvement and infection prevention and control (IPC).
